Mariza

She was given an enthusiastic welcome on the stages of various countries. As early as 2002, at the Quebec Summer Festival she received the First Award for Most Outstanding Performance. She performed in New York’s Central Park, the mythical Hollywood Bowl, the Womad Festival, and sold out at the Belém Cultural Centre in Lisbon and the Purcell Room on London’s South Bank. Mariza was considered by BBC Radio 3 the Best European World Music artist. German awarded her the “Deutsche Schallplatten-Kritik” award.
